Welcome to DARV-

Giving Second Chances,
One Paw at a Time
At DARV, our mission is to create a world where no dogs and other vulnerable animals are left abandoned, abused, or suffering on the streets.
We rescue stray and neglected animals, provide life-saving medical care, and give them a second chance through rehabilitation and adoption into loving homes.
Humane education is also a vital part of our mission. By teaching communities about responsible pet ownership, compassion, and proper animal care, we work to break the cycle of neglect and help build a kinder, more informed society for all animals.
Our Mission
The Challenges We Face Every Day
Each rescued dog comes with its own story of suffering — and with it, medical and emotional needs. Some are severely injured, others sick or traumatized. Our biggest struggles include:
Feeding our rescues daily — food provisions are a constant concern.
Paying vet bills — many animals require urgent, sometimes ongoing, treatment.
Supplying medication for recovery and survival.
Managing a growing number of strays, with limited resources.
Yes, we’re still rescuing dogs, but the harsh truth is: our ability to help is being limited by financial strain.

Meet Our Featured Rescue Dog!
Max’s Journey: From Stray to Strong
Meet Max, our brave survivor. Back in 2020, Max wandered the streets near a hardware store in Davao City—bald, weak, and alone. His fur had fallen out from disease, and every day was a struggle to find food and shelter.
Then came the day everything changed. Our team rescued Max, gave him the care he desperately needed, and showed him what love truly means. With time, medicine, and lots of cuddles, his fur grew back—soft, shiny, and full of life.
Today, Max is almost unrecognizable: a healthy, happy dog who loves belly rubs and long walks. From a stray in the streets to a symbol of hope, Max reminds us that every rescued dog deserves a second chance at life.
“The best breed is rescued—
open your heart and adopt today.”
Every small act of kindness brings us closer to saving another animal.
